Drooble

If you've followed me for any longer than a day you'll know that I'm very passionate about music. But lately I've had some qualms about how music is being distributed and created for profit rather than for a love of music. My last Playlist of The Week was completely about Dodie Clark, a musician who posts her own content purely for the love of creating and not to making a living. That is the kind of music I have wanted to delve into for some time but always felt a little over whelmed and bombarded by more popular and over produced music.

Drooble came into my life at exactly the right time. This fairly unknown website was created by musician and entrepreneur Melina who is already creating a revolution for all music lovers. Instead of great and passionate artists being stuck in bedrooms or playing to an audience of three people in tiny local clubs, Drooble enables musicians to share their music and teach others. They make a living doing what they love while sharing their passion with others.

Drooble connects every type of music lover, the relaxed music listener to the passionate creator. Everyone from booking agents and sound engineers to fans and learning musicians can all be found in one place - Drooble

Drooble enables its users to jam with others, create band/artist pages, find bandmates and new music all for free. The only paid element of Drooble is lessons given by musicians. Which is a pretty great tool for those who want to improve or just learn something new.

My favourite aspect of Drooble is the ability to find new and undiscovered music. It's even easier to find new music than other platforms because every artist's page and every piece of music is labeled with it's influence or genre. So if you prefer rock to indie there's no need to sift through song after song, everything you are looking for is right there for you. I have discovered a plethora of new music thanks to Drooble.

If you're passionate about music, then check out and join Drooble, a great platform for all music enthusiasts. You can join Drooble here and follow my profile here
